There's no denying it -- online message boards have become a huge and critical component of the global swing dancing community. Over the years, Swing Dynamite team members have been major contributors to many of these message boards. While we've enjoyed reading and posting on the forums, we've found ourselves with the same frustration time and time again: The impossibility of sustaining productive, thought-provoking discussion. On March 16-18, 2007, Swing Dynamite will be hosting the first ever Lindy Leaders symposium: an event for organizers, DJs, and instructors to come together and expand their collective knowledge on relevant topics. Our goal is to inspire and enrich; to push beyond the generic and the status quo. We have set up this forum with similar goals in mind. We ask that you respect the spirit with which the Lindy Leaders forum was created. Contradicting opinions are encouraged... unsupported and tasteless statements are not. ... Unless you're in the Party Room. Because at Swing Dynamite, we firmly believe in being debaucherous, as long as it's in the right context.
